| iPod Quiz Graphics Guide - Chart detailing the requirements for graphics used by iPod Quiz. Using the default set, each graphic is shown (along with it's alpha channel if applicable) and described in a handy reference chart. |
||||
Here is a 320 X 240 grid for finding locations on iPod Quiz screens and to assist when placing your graphics on a background image. Each square represents a 10 pixel by 10 pixel area. |
||||
Make copies of this file and name them as needed, "pause_background.tga", tf_background" or "mc_background." Next, create a "dummy" trivia quiz in (iPod 5th generation = itunes/ipod games/iQuiz 1.0 folder - iPod Classic and iPod Nano [video] = itunes/ipod games/ipod quiz folder). Place the grid files in there. You don't even need to add any real questions just the question tags will do (as below:) |

| (Hey, while you're at it, download a countdown set from the Countdowns page and give it a try. I use these "dummy" quizzes all the time to test my graphics.) | ||||
Synch to your iPod and select this "dummy" quiz. You'll see the grid behind each question type and can tell where the default items are arranged. (Since some of the graphics can vary in size the positions may change depending on the graphic set used.) You can use this grid to help place items on your background so as not to conflict with the default items. |
